Lead Tech Employment Opportunity

We are in search for a new Lead Tech/Drivability Technician for our team. Busy, locally owned auto repair shop that strives to do the best repairs available for our customers. Must have valid Oregon Driver License and pass a drug screen.

This is a $60-80k+ a year position depending on experience and productivity. Compensation to include health insurance, 401k and paid vacations. Please bring in a resume and fill out an application.

Service Writer

Jackson’s Complete Auto Care has an opening for a dynamic Service Writer to join our growing team. Individual will be tasked with providing exceptional customer service to our customers, creating estimates and soliciting customer approval. Are you a self-motivated, service-oriented individual who wants to be part of a special company?

Your role would be to:

  • Greet and assist customers; make appointments for services and repairs.
  • Manages the customer experience for all current, past and potential customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring all customer repair orders are estimated correctly and repair parts are procured in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license
  • Minimum one (1) year previous successful Servicing Writer experience
  • Thorough knowledge of auto repair
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and conducts themselves in a professional manner
  • Passionate about customers and teamwork
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Service Technician

Experienced automotive Service Technicians are invited to join the Jackson’s Complete Auto Care (JCAC) family! We are searching for the right individual who brings experience, knowledge, energy, integrity, self-confidence and desire to do things the right way to become a key contributor to our unique organization.

Job Description:
The JCAC Service Technician’s basic function is to perform skilled and complete repair and maintenance on customer vehicles. The Service Technician must ensure that all work is performed to the customer (and JCAC’s) reasonable expectations in a successful and profitable manner. The basic functions of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform a full range of highly skilled and mechanically complex service and repairs on vehicles.
  • Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives.
  • Determines a vehicle's condition by performing an inspection and diagnosis.
  • Ensures Customers’ repair order (RO) is completed correctly within the timeframe allotted for the
    work.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Two (2) years or more experience as a Service Technician at an auto repair business.
  • Must have thorough knowledge in auto repair.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

The team was open and honest about the work needed. They gave their opinions and even let me know what else needed work without making me feel forced to purchase more parts. There was a delay in getting my vehicle back but it wasn’t due to anything they did (it was a holiday weekend), so they provided a loaner car and everything worked out great. Would recommend.

Jim is the best! Decided to move my vehicle service to Jacksons and first visit was outstanding. Fair pricing and good old fashioned customer service. I was in a pickle while they serviced my truck. I needed to get back home to babysit my grandchildren and Jim loaned me the loaner car for the night. Appreciate the gesture for sure. It’s great to see this kind of customer service. As for the Truck? Well she is purring like a kitten again ! Thanks Jim and your service department team!
